How the EDD Zapier Integration Works​

The EDD Zapier extension connects your online store to automation platform. In Zapier, an automated workflow is called a "Zap." A Zap consists of a Trigger (an event in one app) and an Action (an event in another app). The EDD extension provides a rich set of Triggers for your store.

Steps to Set Up Your Integration​

To get started, you'll need to set up both the plugin on your EDD store and the connection within your Zapier account.

1. EDD Setup: Install and activate the Zapier extension for Easy Digital Downloads. Then, navigate to Downloads > Tools > API Keys in your WordPress dashboard to generate an API key for an Administrator user.
2. Zapier Setup:
   • Use the provided link to access the Easy Digital Downloads app within Zapier.
   • Create a new Zap and select Easy Digital Downloads as the trigger app. You will be prompted to authenticate your store by entering your site's URL and the API key you generated.
